Chapelle-des-Bois is one of the cradles of cross-country skiing in France. The village lies in a valley ringed by the Risoux forest and Mont Risoux, and lives with the seasons: groomed trails and snowshoeing in winter, hiking, mountain biking and lakes from spring onwards.
No ski lifts, no tower blocks: a human-sized village resort, a Nordic ski area linked to the neighbouring villages, two lakes, and Comté cheese dairies a few kilometres away.

Nous avons loué 2 chalets pour 12 personnes au total, pour participer à la Trans'ju trail. Chalets au top: fonctionnalité, propreté, accessibilité, parking , etc... Le responsable est très arrangeant, disponible, joignable et très avenants. Les chalets sont très bien situés pour des activités de plein airs, pour des couples oud es familles avec enfants. Allez y les yeux fermés, en période hivernale, estivale ou hors saison.
Séjour dans le chalet Anémone pour le grand weed-end de l'ascension, randonnée et visite... Trés bien situé au pied de nombreux départs de rando à 1094 m. Confort, calme et bien équipé.
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour au gîte Edelweiss. Logement est grande, propre, confortable et très bien équipé. Petit inconvénient : deux chambres sont enfilables donc il faut passer l'une pour accéder l'autre, un peu dérangeant si on n'a pas les même horaires de coucher. Propriétaire très sympa et disponible. Pleines choses à visiter dans le coin.

Nous avons passé un super séjour au Gite Les Hauts Bois, nous étions 15 ( dans les appartements Eldeweiss, Capucine,et Gentiane, avec accès indépendants mais aussi possibilité de communication entre les 3 par un escalier intérieur) du volume ; près de 250 M2. Au pied des pistes, accueil très chaleureux, logement très confortable et très bien équipé et parfaitement propre.Nous le recommandons et nous avons bien l'intention d'y revenir.Un grand Merci .Christian & Elisabeth de NARP
Séjour très agréable au calme mais à proximité des lieux touristiques. Chalet très propre et bien agencé, le + étant les draps, serviettes et ménage compris. Accueil agréable avec tous les conseils nécessaires pour passer de bonnes vacances. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir. Merci !!
Le chalet , les hauts-Bois, un Havre de paix, un lieu magnifique, au milieu d'un superbe village dans le haut Jura , un confort nec plus ultra, ultra pratique en tous points, juste à côté des pistes de VTT, et du magasin de locations de VTT vae ou musculaire. On ne peut pas demander plus. C'est parfait !!!.
Nos avons passé un super séjour au gîte "les hauts bois". Nous étions 10 et tout le monde a trouvé le gite super. Logement très confortable et bien équipé (cuisine, literie de qualité et accessoires de jardin). Tout est vraiment agréable et très fonctionnel, la localisation en face des pistes est parfaite. Propriétaire très sympa et disponible. A recommander pour un séjour entre amis, en famille.

As a rule, homes are available from 4 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10 am on the day of departure. We are happy to adapt when the schedule allows: just tell us your travel times.
Duvets, pillows and blankets are provided in every home. Bed linen and towels are to be brought with you, or can be hired on request when booking.
Yes. Our rates include heating, water and electricity, as well as firewood for the stove in the chalets. No surprises on the bill, even in the depths of winter.
Rentals are by the week, Saturday to Saturday, and you can book several weeks in a row. For a special request (other days, a shorter stay), send us your dates: we consider every request.
